FEES TO: TENANTS
Before you move in:
Set up fee (tenant’s share) £125.00 (inc VAT) per applicant and £210.00 (inc VAT) per couple.
This includes: (identity, immigration and visa confirmation, financial credit checks, obtaining references from current or previous employers /landlords and any other relevant information to assess affordability) as well as contract negotiation (amending and agreeing terms) and arranging the tenancy agreement.
Deposit Protection fee: £25.00 (inc VAT) per property
Processing the deposit and lodging it in the mydeposits scheme
Guarantor Fee: £55.00 (inc VAT) per guarantor
Covering credit referencing and preparing a Deed of Guarantee as part of the Tenancy Agreement
Pet Deposit: Returnable additional security deposit of between £100.00 - £200.00
To cover the assed risk of property damage, this will be protected with your security deposit in mydeposits scheme and may be returned at the end of the tenancy.
During your tenancy:
Renewal fee (tenants share) £25.00 (inc VAT)
Contract negotiation, amending, updating terms and arranging a further tenancy agreement.
Call out fees: If a contractor is called out to a property and if the following is found:
Misuse of appliances has cause breakdown
An electrical fault due to tenants own equipment malfunction
Failure to keep the gas, electric or even oil topped up
PLEASE NOTE THAT TENANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR INSURING THEIR OWN CONTENTS
Ending your Tenancy:
Checkout fee (tenants share) £65.00 (inc VAT)
Attending the property to undertake an updated schedule of condition based on the original inventory, and negotiating the repayment of the security deposit.
Professional cleaning (if required) £15.00 (inc VAT) PER HOUR
This will be deducted from the security deposit. Its only charged where a professional clean is necessary to return the property to the same condition as at the start of the tenancy.
